Story Summary FILM THE DARK KNIGHT (2008):
At Gotham city from a 'clean' of crime, suddenly appeared a series of robberies and killings masterminded by a strange-faced villain, the Joker (Heath Ledger). Bruce originally hoped to break from the 'role' as Batman (Christian Bale) was forced to intervene to track the perpetrators of this crime.

In the robbery, the famous Joker did not hesitate to destroy the lives of victims and even his own men just to prove that he was not kidding. After the mess the city of Gotham, the Joker gives a tempting offer in the city of Gotham crime syndicate that was terrorized in the Batman. In exchange for half of their assets, Joker will kill Batman. Joker then provide the demand that the city of Gotham Batman or Joker hand will kill more people until Batman gave himself up.

With the help of Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman), the attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) and Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal), Batman and the Joker is trying to track down. At the same time citizens of Gotham city began to feel that their safety is threatened until they gave Batman the Joker.
